Vortex IDE

Vortex IDE

Overview

Puakma Vortex IDE (Integrated Development Environment) is a tool which is focused on productivity for real world development, or as we like to say "getting the job done". It uses the powerful Eclipse framework and communicates with Tornado Servers over SOAP. This unique coupling allows development through firewalls and proxy servers. The Vortex toolset simplifies web application development and allows programmers to easily create and compile Actions, Pages, Resources and all other Tornado application settings and design elements. Vortex works as a companion to the webdesign application content created in one appears in the other. Suddenly the development choices are amazing!

Develop on your favourite platform

There's nothing more annoying than being forced to use a particular OS because the development toolset won't run on the platform of your choice. Not so with Vortex: Windows, OS X, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX - you choose.
