This document provides solutions to well known problems with Eclipse and Vortex IDE
After Vortex plugin is updated Eclipse doesn't show new menu items, etc...
Eclipse aggressively caches plugins and it is likely that Eclipse doesn't recognize plugin upgrade.
Solution: Close Eclipse then delete content of eclipse/configuration directory EXCEPT config.ini file. Config.ini contains some important Eclipse configuration, and Eclipse won't start without it. Restart Eclipse and you should now see the new menu items.
